That was until we all tried the Shark Diving Experience at The Blue Planet Aquarium… I think shark and I think Jaws , that 1976 classic film when a gigantic great white shark begins to menace the small island community of Amity. Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss starred as a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman battling against a formidable man-eater.. I still remember the fist time I saw the head roll out of the boat and leapt out of my chair spilling popcorn over the guy in front..

It took a lot of courage to get into the water and swim down into “shark infested waters” but the whole thing was not really what I imagined. Laying on the bottom with a dozen or so killer sharks swimming above me was fantastic. Once I had settled down , far from being sacred , the time there was quite serine and  relaxing. Maybe it’s the quietness or the grace sharks but I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful experience of my life.
